API 682 – Plan 52
The Flopac SPA series include Plan 52 seal support systems, typically used with arrangement 2 contacting wet seals (2CW-CW). Plan 52 is a closed-loop system that circulates buffer liquid between a non-pressurised dual seal and an external reservoir, cooling and lubricating the outboard seal. Product leakage over the inboard seal is absorbed by the buffer liquid and collected in the reservoir for orderly disposal. Built in-house to API 682 specifications.
