seal coolers

Forced air draft coolers

In the API world forced air draft coolers are often plainly referred to as โ€˜air blast coolersโ€™. They are typically used for higher heat load applications where cooling water is not available or hard to come by, from standard commercial air blast coolers to customized/engineered designs. Designed, engineered and built in-house by Flopac.

  • Cooling ranges up to 9 kW
  • Maximum working pressure 100 barg @ -20/+200ยฐC
  • Anti-static design
  • Motor make and type easily adapted to suit project specs and/or AVL
  • CFA-400: seal cooling by forced air blasting, capacities up to 5 kW, 69 barg @ 120ยฐC, ATEX certified
  • CFA-700: capacities up to 9 kW, 69 barg @ 120ยฐC, ATEX certified
  • Cooling capacities over 9 kW
  • Zone 1 or 2 ATEX certification
  • Low head designs for maximum seal liquid circulation
  • Full contact laser-welded 316Ti fins enhance heat transfer, firmness and durability
  • Well suited for offshore applications without compromise
  • Cooler tubes in series rather than parallel for best cooler efficiency
  • Flopac designs eliminate laminar flow patterns
