Mechanical seal system SPB-590
A complete Plan 53B seal support system for arrangement 3 dual mechanical seals (3CW-FB, 3CW-BB, 3CW-FF), in accordance with API 682 / ISO 21049. Suitable for shaft diameters ≤60mm and >60mm. High-end, all butt-welded API 682 compliant units in SS316L offering superior strength and corrosion resistance, best suited for critical, hazardous and highly corrosive applications. Designed, engineered and built in-house by Flopac.
Standard configuration
- Design PED 2014/68/EU (CE) – ATEX 2014/34/EU Zone 2 II/A T1-T3 and/or ASME VIII div. 1
- Suitable for general oil/water service, non-hazardous, wetted parts AISI 316(L)
- Design 40 barg @ -15/+90°C / ANSI 300#-sch.40s
- Seal supply and return connections ANSI WN RF ¾”–300#, remainder ANSI WN RF ½”–300#
- SS316L/316Ti heat exchanger type CNA-100, nominal capacity 750W
- 4-20mA Smart/Hart® pressure transmitter with SS316 instrument block/bleed valve
- Engineering units: SI, Bar/°C
- NDE: Visual, hydrostatic and leaktesting
Main components
- One all SS316/316L butt-welded piping assembly with ANSI RF 300# welding neck flanges for all client connections
- Fill, vent and drain connections with butt-welded valves, fill connection with butt-welded non-return valve
- Nitrogen charge connection with gas valve
- 4-20mA Smart/Hart® pressure transmitter, 0.2% accuracy, local display, IP66, SS316 wetted parts, mounted on a butt-welded SS316 instrument block and bleed valve
- Flopac CNA-100 natural air draught cooler, SS316L body, laser-welded 316Ti fins, 750W nominal capacity
