Mechanical seal system SPX-210
A complete and fully packaged Plan 21 system for arrangement 1 wet single seals, or the wet inner seal of an arrangement 2 unpressurised dual seal, in accordance with API 682 / ISO 21049. Including support. Designed, engineered and built in-house by Flopac.
Standard configuration
- Design PED 2014/68/EU (CE) – ATEX 2014/34/EU Zone 2 II/A T1-T3 and/or ASME VIII div. 1
- Suitable for general oil/water service, non-hazardous, wetted parts AISI 316(L) with SS316Ti full contact laser-welded fins
- Design 40 barg @ -15/+90°C / ANSI 300#-sch.40s
- To- and from seal connections ANSI ¾”–300# RF smf, vent and drain connections ANSI ½”–300# RF smf
- For heat loads up to 1.5 kW
- Engineering units: SI, Bar/°C
- NDE: Visual, hydrostatic and leaktesting
Main components
- One heat exchanger: as appropriate, refer to the section coolers
- Vent and drain valves as appropriate, API 602 forged gate type
- One temperature gauge: Badotherm skin type TG18, -20/+120°C, dial 100mm, SS316/SS304
