API 682 – Plan 21
The Flopac SPX series include Plan 21 seal flushing units, typically used with arrangement 1 contacting wet seals (1CW-FX, 1CW-FL), or with arrangement 2 seals (2CW-CW) in combination with Plan 52. Plan 21 takes a cooled flush from the pump discharge to cool and lubricate the (inner) seal and reduce the product vapour pressure at the seal chamber. Built in-house to API 682 specifications.
