HMS 50/4
Our most versatile mobile make-up and topping-up unit for refilling operations on pressurised and non-pressurised seal flushing systems. Carries higher volumes to extend your service range, a towbar lets the unit travel even greater distances. Prefer fixed units per system? Refer to our HMF range. Designed, engineered and built in-house by Flopac.
Standard configuration
A high quality stainless steel Micropacยฎ robust and compact hand pump with:
- Highly efficient stroke capacity, refill time 1~3 minutes per system
- Pressure capability up to 200 bar depending on stroke volume (standard 40 bar)
- Hard chrome plated stainless steel piston rod for a long service life
- Stainless steel liquid reservoir, 50 L
- Coated carbon steel steerable 4-wheel trolley with brake facility
- 3 m high pressure hose with SS high pressure quick connector
- Stainless steel pressure gauge
- Overload protection valve
- Pressure release valve
Ordering code
HMS โ V/4 โ MC โ P
- V = seal liquid reservoir volume in litres: 10, 20 or 50 (volumes over 30 L are hard to move by muscle power alone, consider a towbar for motorised mobility)
- MC = material configuration, W: anodised alloy for mineral oils and water; SW: stainless steel / bronze for mineral oils, water and most other liquids
- P = maximum charge pressure in barg: 16, 25, 40, 60, 100, 160 or 200, select a range โฅ20% above the desired charging pressure
Example ordering code
Ordering code HMS-50/4-SW-40: a versatile mobile make-up/refill unit with a 50 L stainless steel 316 reservoir on a steerable 4-wheel trolley. Nominal pressure capacity 40 barg, best selected for a maximum operational pressure of 32 barg.
Options
- Automated operation using an air driven pump
- Soft parts in EPDM or Viton
- Level gauge instead of dipstick
- Other charging connections (flanges etc.) on request
- ATEX certification if and as needed
- Flopac SG-5A oil sampler to analyze oil quality and water presence
- Special drain valve assembly to ease reservoir draining
